Friday Feedings

I might be biased but I think I had some pretty cute Valentines this year. This is the first year they actually made cards for their friends at school and it was precious. And remember what I told you about our normal vday routine well after almost 7 years of not really celebrating John surprised me with steaks, lobster and oysters! Mama was on cloud nine that night! Had to take Nova (our first baby) to the vet this week. And Continue Reading…

Friday Feedings

It’s been three weeks since we were in New York and I’m not gonna lie I am missing it a little bit. Not just listening to Eric Ripert and Anthony Bourdain talk while we eat dinner but all the food in general. And let’s be honest having a kid free weekend. Don’t get me wrong I love these little munchkins but mama needed a break. And it happened at the right time if you’ve seen Instagram lately the whole house has Continue Reading…

I thought I’d do an homage to peas for this Friday Feedings – starting with this Crunchy Pea Salad. You might be asking why peas? Well peas are not my friends right now even though I do love them in this Creamy Shrimp with Mushrooms and Peas! Our sweet yet wildman John Grayson decided to put a pea up his nose this week. And when I say put up I mean sniff it so hard up there that a pediatrician Continue Reading…

Friday Feedings

I blink and life is moving at a 100  miles a minute. Do you ever feel that way? Spring is almost halfway over. But either way farmers markets are back here in the south which makes me one happy mama. And it’s time to start our garden! I can’t believe 3 of the 12 herbs we have actually stayed through winter – rosemary, oregano, and mint. This boy is turning 2 next month and I realized I had not even Continue Reading…

Friday Feedings

Obviously by now you have seen what we have been up to lately. Miss Amelia May Hall came into the world September 21 at 8:50 am. She weighed 9 pounds and was 22 inches long. I am so in love with those chubby cheeks. She was bigger than her brother was. Luckily labor was only 15 hours this time instead of John Grayson’s 33 hours labor!

Friday Feedings

Murphy’s Law – Anything that can go wrong will go wrong. I know what you’re thinking – it’s Saturday why post a Friday Feedings today? Revert back to Murphy’s law – technology problems, toddler problems, and pregnancy problems. Plain and simple. So happy Friday Feedings a day late…

Friday Feedings

Amelia isn’t here yet but my sleep schedule is definitely getting ready for her. Since we went to the beach last week I have been wide awake at 1:30 in the morning – which is when I wrote this post earlier this week (sorry John if the bright lights kept you up). I finally finished her nursery – Can’t believe I now have two nurseries!
