Olive Garden has a Chicken and Gnocchi Soup that I have been dying to remake so I thought why not use my favorite vegetables kale with it?! The broth is a combination of chicken stock, half and half, and Parmesan cheese. I chose the half and half to make the soup a little lighter than some of my more heavier soups like the Creamy Winter Squash Bisque. It was a perfect meal in our house yesterday to warm us up on a cold winter night.

When I saw this holiday I didn’t automatically think of sweet dessert pies. I think of my savory pies of course. So if you like savory ones try out my Mexican Pie or my Shepherd’s Pie. I did recently hear of a recipe I wanted to toy with it’s a sweet potato and ground turkey version of a Shepherd’s Pie. Maybe at some point I’ll make a classic apple pie.
