Dallas, Texas

I recently returned from Dallas, Texas with John’s family. We went out for the opening Alabama game against Michigan. Here are some of the highlights of the trip!

The Food
The food was oh so good. Everyone knows this is one of my favorite things about traveling.
Texas Spice Restaurant
Brisket Hash with two poached eggs, smoked brisket, sautéed jalapeño, potatoes, onions, and chipotle hollandaise
Smoked Salmon Platter with atlantic house smoked salmon, chopped egg, capers, onions, tomatoes,  cream cheese, and a toasted bagel
Marquee Grill
The best part of this restaurant was walking in and the manager knowing ahead a time that I had picked this restaurant because of the chef! Some people get excited about meeting a movie star I got to the meet the chef and was on cloud nine!
Shrimp and Grits with Chipotle jack cheese grits and tequila lime sauce
Chef Tre Wilcox
Source: Side Dish
The Football
Watching the game in the Dallas Cowboy Stadium and
us getting on the Jumbo Tron was an awesome experience
Alabama 41
Michigan 14
Family & Friends
I know I am biased, but I am pretty sure Emma Scott is the most precious little girl ever!
Travel to Texas and we got to catch up with some of our best friends from Alabama!!
The girls at Marquee Grill
My other half
I had a great time in Dallas and can’t wait to go back again some time!
