Inspiration

One of my close friends asked me one day how I come up with my recipes. Well, the process is a combination of things. My DVR is 70% full with cooking shows that I watch on a regular basis, my own cookbooks, I have been handed down a few recipes, and over the years have slowly acquired a good taste of what compliments one another. Throw all of these things together and there you have it.
This is what John will come home to quite frequently when I am menu planning for the following week.
65 cookbooks and counting…And don’t ask me which one is my favorite it depends on what I want to cook

My beloved recipe box (one of my most prized possessions)
Menu for the Week
Wing Night (Bourbon & Bacon and Cilantro & Lime)
Mexican Dinner Party
How do you figure out what you want to cook during the week? Pinterest, TV shows, cravings, whatever is in the pantry?
