I don’t remember having sloppy joes as a kid. I mean I’m sure I did, but I just don’t remember it. What I do remember is watching It Takes Two – my favorite childhood movie. There is a scene where one of the Olsen twins is at camp having a sloppy joe for the first time and she calls it “the big gooey messy burger” her camp counselor corrects her and says “also known as a sloppy joe”.
I still remember almost 95% of the lines in this movie still to this day, I wonder if my childhood best friend Mika does too? We were a little obsessed with the Olsen twins growing up. Okay – don’t judge me.
