I think it’s time to lay out by the pool and enjoy this nice Summer Rose Sangria. Don’t ya think?
I know college was only 7 years ago for me but it seems like ages some days. Especially when I remember laying out for hours without a care in the world other than making sure I didn’t miss class.
Those days have come and gone. And my reminder has been seeing my sweet little girl get that beautiful olive complexion that I once had. Yes I know it’s hard to believe, but like I said I once had time to lay out and work on that tan. And of course all while enjoying some sangria. We know that it’s one my favorites – I mean I have a couple on here (or five).
So cheers to those summer days where you didn’t have a care in the world. And cheers to these new summer days with little ones which I wouldn’t change one bit.
Summer Rose Sangria
- 2 bottles rose
- 1/2 cup brandy
- 1/2 cup triple sec
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup club soda
- 1 c. watermelon
- 3 kiwis
- 2 peaches
- Combine first 4 ingredients in a large pitcher. Stir until sugar is dissolved.
- Add the rest of the ingredients and stir.
- Allow it to sit for several hours in the fridge before serving.
